It's hard to believe that we're into Week 6 of the MRP already! What an amazing season it has been so far. Thank you to everyone across all our Clubs for your support.
Here are some key updates:
Suncorp Saturday 26 May
Final plans are confirmed and the link to the information is in our Team Skype groups. Thanks so much to everyone for all your support with this as well - all MRP information is now at your fingertips!
New Club Feature
Elias Power, coach of the MRP Blue at Norths Rugby Club, joined the MRP this season. Elias has recently completed a Dual Degree of a Bachelor of Sport Exercise Science and Sports Management and a Graduate Diploma in Education, aiding his coaching ability and understanding towards children with learning and perceptual disabiltiies. Welcome Gareth Smith
Many of you will have already met Gareth Smith who is our Project Lead for the GingerCloud PlayerMentor Alumni Project that we'll officially launch at our 23 June End of Season Carnival. The purpose of this project is to continue building towards our goal of nurturing a generation of young people for whom disabiltity is normalised.
In addition to his Alumni Project role, Gareth will also be providing operational support.
Gareth comes to GingerCloud iwth an extensive corporate career that has spent the last 10 years working with organisations designing, implementing and facilitating leadership educational programs. He is also experienced in operations and event management spending the last 12 years leading a not-for-profit networking group. Personally, he is the father of two beautiful children, Evan and Elicia, with the wonderful Evan diagnosed with ASD. He also struggles to contain and manage his love of everything Rugby, having coached Women's, Junior Rugby, Colts and Grade sides.

Damien Neill's Fundraiser
Our amazing Dad from Redlands Rugby, Damian Neill, is running the Gold Coast Marathon to raise funds for the MRP. His goal is $6,000 so please share with family and friends to support his generous fundraising initiative.
