We had so many wonderful new and returning MRP Players, PlayerMentors, Coaches and families attend. Our GingerCloud Team enjoyed meeting every single one of you and we know the MRP Season 2021 is going to be awesome.
We are so grateful to John Flew, President of Caboolture Rugby Union Club and all the Caboolture volunteers who came along and cooked the fantastic sausage sizzle, for close to 200 MRP attendees. The sausage sizzle was so welcome after a morning of games and it was fantastic to see many happy faces enjoying a cold drink in the shade of the Caboolture Club House.
A big thank you also goes to Linda Adam, a parent of one of our MRP Players who volunteered to take photos of our day. It was a hot and busy day for Linda, and we appreciated it so much.
And thank you to St. George for your wonderful support and for providing Happy the Dragon, who always takes the time to embrace and meet the MRP Community. Happy is an extremely popular visitor at all our events and we love his energy!
Another big thank you is to Mark Star from Star Outdoors for the fabulous marquees that shaded us all from the hot sun. Mark and his wonderful team have supported GingerCloud from the beginning and we appreciate all the support.
A final thank you goes to Stuart Walker CEO of Manitou Australia for bringing along his Rough terrain forklift and Skid steer loader. The MRP Players loved climbing all over them, though we think Happy the Dragon was conspiring to take one out for a spin. Manitou Australia has been GingerCloud’s Partner since 2017 and will also partner with us for another three years!
GingerCloud’s MRP is only successful because of our wonderful Community. We would not be here without the support from you all, powering inclusion together and creating bonds that won’t break.
The day was not over though for our Coaches and PlayerMentors, with their 2021 Training and Induction taking place after the Mini Carnival. These young adults are the magic of the MRP, Inclusion Leaders who hold true and honour GingerCloud’s Values and ensure our MRP Players experience success and fun.
Gingercloud’s MRP Season 2021, sure is going to be a great one. The countdown is now on. Two weeks till we all get back out on the Rugby field and play the game we love!
